Before starting XCOPRI® (cenobamate tablets) CV, it’s important to discuss the potential benefits and risks with your doctor. There is a chance you may experience side effects. The most common side effects of XCOPRI include feeling sleepy and tired, dizziness, double vision, and headache.

Keep track of any side effect you have and share it with your doctor. They can provide medical advice about side effects.
It is important to pay attention to any changes, especially sudden changes, in mood, behaviors, thoughts, or feelings, and report any to your doctor.
XCOPRI can cause serious or life-threatening side effects
Call your doctor or 911 right away if you experience reactions such as a skin rash, hives, fever, swelling of the face, eyes, lips, or tongue. Please refer to the Medication Guide and Important Safety Information for additional information.
Before starting once-daily XCOPRI
It is important to let your doctor know if you have been diagnosed with a genetic problem that affects your heart (called Familial Short QT syndrome). Do not take XCOPRI if you have Familial Short QT syndrome.

How to take XCOPRI tablets:
BY MOUTH,

XCOPRI FLEXIBLE ONCE-DAILY DOSING MEANS PERSONALIZED DOSING FOR YOU
If you and your doctor decide to add XCOPRI to your regimen, you will start on the lowest dosage and increase your dosage over time until you reach a dosage that’s right for you.
- The recommended starting dosage is 12.5 mg once daily
- The recommended maintenance dosage is 200 mg once daily
- In some cases, your doctor may increase your dosage if needed. However, your daily dosage should not exceed 400 mg
- It’s important to take your medicine about the same time every day
If you have mild or moderate liver issues, your doctor will make sure you do not exceed a daily dosage of 200 mg. Use of XCOPRI in patients with severe liver issues is not recommended.
How XCOPRI is supplied
You’ll receive convenient, monthly pill packs and detailed dosing instructions from your doctor to help you find the right dosage for you. It’s important to follow these instructions. Remember, do not stop taking XCOPRI without first talking with your doctor.
